IKEA furniture assembly in Montreal
We assemble your IKEA furniture anywhere in Greater Montreal, often the same day. A MALM dresser takes about half an hour; a PAX wardrobe with sliding doors can take half a day with two people. The cardboard and foam leave with us — that's included.
What's included
Unboxing, sorting the hardware, full assembly, levelling, anti-tip wall anchoring where the piece calls for it — and hauling away every bit of cardboard, foam and empty hardware bag.
The pieces we build most
PAX wardrobes, BILLY bookcases, MALM and HEMNES dressers, storage beds, desks, BESTÅ media units and METOD kitchen cabinets. Sliding doors and custom countertops need more precision — mention them when you request a quote, it changes the time estimate.
How it works
- You send us the model or models, plus your area.
- We book a slot — usually within a few days.
- We build, adjust and clean up. Nothing for you to carry out.
Wall anchoring isn't optional
IKEA ships an anti-tip bracket with most tall furniture. We fit it every time, matching the anchors to the wall type — drywall, plaster over lath, or concrete. It's the kind of detail that matters with kids in the house.
What affects the price
The number and type of pieces, the floor and access (elevator or stairs), sliding doors or mirrors, and how many wall anchors are needed. Three simple pieces cost less per hour than one complex PAX.
Where we work
Montreal and all of Greater Montreal, up to roughly 75 km around the island — Laval and the North Shore, the South Shore, the West Island.

Frequently asked questions — Montreal
- Should I open all the boxes before you arrive?
- Please don't. We'd rather open them ourselves so we can check the contents against the parts list as we go — that's how you avoid discovering missing hardware halfway through. Leave the boxes sealed near the final spot if you can.
- Do you assemble IKEA kitchens?
- The cabinets, fronts and hardware, yes. Plumbing and electrical hookups belong to a plumber and a licensed electrician — we coordinate with yours.
- What if a part is missing from the box?
- We flag it with a photo as soon as we notice. The replacement is ordered from IKEA; we come back to finish without charging a full second trip.
